About us

Newy Event Collective is a family owned event hire business based in Newcastle. We provide event displays, luxury picnics and furniture hire for weddings, corporate parties and private functions around Newcastle and surrounds. We are looking for some hard working and enthusiastic individuals who want to become part of our crew.

You must be able to work weekends. No formal qualification or experience is necessary and 'on the job training' will be provided. You will need to be physically fit, strong enough to be lifting wine barrels, furniture long distances alone and in awkward areas. Have a positive attitude and not be afraid of some manual labour and hard work! For the right applicants there will be flexibility on start dates and shifts.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday availabilities.

Event staff

You will be responsible for making the event look great and in accordance to client needs. This is a physically demanding and high energy role that will have you moving tables and chairs, heavy crates of crockery, glasses and setting of tables. You could be tasked with anything from cleaning crockery, ironing napkins to picking and packing items for the upcoming week. They’re also responsible for keeping warehouse clean and tidying up after events.

Full driving licence is preferred
